The 15 Best Flamenco Shows in Madrid

34 tours  ·  ★★★★★★★★★★ 4.7 average  ·  from $22

Madrid keeps flamenco’s oldest tablaos, small rooms where the dancing is close enough to hear the floor. These 15 shows are compared on the room, the length, and whether dinner or a drink comes with the seat — and which late sittings are worth staying up for.

8.“Algarabía”: Flamenco Show at Café Ziryab. Madrid

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 1,443 reviews · 50 minutes - 1 hour · from $29

Intimate flamenco at Café Ziryab in Madrid. A 50 to 60 minute show with singing, guitar, and dance plus one free drink for $29.

“We had a fantastic evening! I was a fraud we would step into some tourist trap with a 'show' but we ended up in a little cafe with a stage seeing an amazing performance of 3 tango dancers, a guitar player and 'singer'. Bringing us to what seemed the real essence of Tango. It was emotional, free performance in which we completely forgot the chairs we were sitting on were far from comfortable. They have some nice tapas, good drinks all for a reasonable price while enjoying the performance on the stage. Absolutely advice to go when you are looking for the real thing!”

Intimate Madrid flamenco in a vaulted 1850s cave, with a free drink and brief flamenco history talk. 1 hour, no microphones.

“This was the best flamenco show I have ever been to and I've been to a few in Spain. The experience is so genuine, the artists are so well connected between themselves and feel the rythm. The location is amazing, in an old basement where there is no need of microphones or speakers, you just sit next to the stage and feel the artists. I would definetly go again when I'll visit Madrid.”

Intimate, no-microphone flamenco in central Madrid. 54-seat show with a classic quartet, 50-60 minutes, mobile ticket.

“Why the stage is so narrow? it would be better if the artists have more space to dance and perform. If there is some introductions about the content of what the singer and dancer is going to play. That would be better for communication”

Flamenco Show at Torres Bermejas in Madrid

14.Flamenco Show at Torres Bermejas in Madrid

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 460 reviews · 1 hour (approx.) · from $28

Flamenco at Torres Bermejas in Madrid, with optional dinner menus and wine, in an Alhambra-style tablao near Gran Via.

“It's a very small club with a couple of names on the sign outside so it's easy to miss when it's dark and raining. The offer said show plus drink with a dinner option. There were a dozen tables that opted for the dinner option but the other roughly 80-90 of us were shoehorned in on rows of dining chairs. Not terribly comfortable but it's only a 55 minute show. The performers were adequate but their ability to show their flair was limited by the small stage. Overall 3/5 and no drink offered.”
